Benefits:
FERTIGATOR  saves time and money,
is better for grass, plants,
and is better for the environment.

Automatic, precise and easy to use - The FertiGator puts out fertilizer automatically and exactly the way you want it. No fertilizer is wasted. When the fertilizer runs out, simply swap out the container and you are done. The FertiGator was designed to be easy to use and hassle free.

Reduces costs - It takes a lot of effort to keep yards healthy, green and pest & disease free. The FertiGator will reduce the amount of time and money spent on maintaining your property. You no longer have to pay someone (or do it yourself) to trudge around with a granular fertilizer spreader or spray expensive and environmentally hazardous chemicals. Lawn care companies charge widely varying rates for their programs but here is one reasonable example: An average lawn is about 7000 sq ft and lawn care companies in Florida are coming out about 8 times a season and charging appr. $50 per treatment for an annual cost of $400. A lawn using the FertiGator will need about 1.5 gallons of fertilizer per month-of-use and in a 10-month season in Florida will need about 15 gallons of fertilizer. FertiGrow brand fertilizer retails for $15 per gallon so the fertilizer cost will be about $225 for that lawn. The savings are about $175 annually but some chemical treatments may still be needed for weeds or bugs so the final savings may only be about $100 per year. However, that does not take into consideration the dollars saved from using less water (about 25-30% savings is usual) due to the fact you will have a deeper, denser root system . The water savings annually will vary greatly but a $100-$200 annual savings is very possible. The combination of fertilizer and water cost savings will be typically be $200-$300 annually so the payback periods is 2-3 years.

Reduce chemical treatments - Fertigation will create heathier plants which require less pesticides, herbicides and fungicides. This will save you the time and money of having to go to the store for yet another product and save your heath by not having to deal with toxic chemicals.

Reduce watering requirements - The FertiGator creates deeper root systems for grass and plants so they need less water

" Fertigation ...has been shown to decrease water use by 30% while reducing non-point pollution from granular fertilizer".
Robert Reeves, Using Every Last Drop Irrigation And Buisness Technology, Jan./Feb. 2001

Reduce loss rate on new plantings - People spend a lot of money on their yards.
The FertiGator allows you to put the right amount of fertilizer and micronutrients on your new plantings, and significantly increase their chance for survival. You can insure that all your hard work and money wont go to waste.

Create Beautiful Grass And Plants

Total Control - The FertiGator is programmable by zone to put more fertilizer in one area and less in another. Apply exactly what you want and control growth and color. The FertiGator eliminates the chance of burning or streaking by over- applying fertilizer and also reduces excessive growth, thatch and disease.

Heathier Roots - The FertiGator "spoon feeds" fertilizer in consistant and precise amounts so the nutrients are able to penetrate with the water deep into the root zone, adding to the nutrient reserves, taking the energy from the top growth and converting it to deep and lateral root growth. The result is heathier green grass and more blades of grass.

" Plants micro-fed  the correct fertilizers will develop heathier root structures, need less water and be more resistant to disease and insect infestation"

---------- Landscape and Irrigation Magazine,  1999

Gradual Feeding Is Better - With granular fertilizers, the plants use up the nutrients in the first few days following treatment, growing rapidly, requiring mowing and leaving long grass stems that cause thatch to form. After a week or so, the lawn must endure a period of near starvation untill the next chemical release or treatment. Another over-feeding is followed by another stressful low nutrient period. This sequence of peaks and valleys is stressful for plants which weaken cell structures and invite disease and pests. Advancements in attempting to control the rate of release of grandular fertilizers proves that gradual feeding is the ultimate goal. No matter the design, rain and weather effect release rates, there is no way to actually control when grandular fertilizers release.

Better For The Environment

Healthier Soil - Gradual feeding through the FertiGator brings back microbes and enhances the ability of the plant to obtain food from the soil. Nitrogen is very plentiful in the air and the soil. When it rains, nitrogen is brought to the soil by the rain as it falls through the nitrogen rich air. Unfortunatly, this this nitrogen is not in a form that the plant can use. Microbes convert this nitrogen from unusable molecules to plant-soluble moleclues. When microbe populations are reduced it becomes more and more difficult for the plant to use the naturally occuring nutrients. The increase in granular fertilizers increases the concentration of harmful chemicals, further diminishing the microbial population, thus requiring the the application of still more fertilizer. Applying liquid based fertilizers with the FertiGator will improve the quality of your soil by enhancing microbial activity.

Less Run-Off - Fertigation is a more precise way to deliver small concentrations of fertilizer, which results in a better absorbtion rate and means less or no run-off available to the Gulf, bays and groundwater. It has been documented that a very significant portion of the chemical run-off problem our water systems are facing comes from residential lawn chemicals.

" The FertiGator system design also causes less run-off and reduced pollution"

---------Landscape Architecture, Nov. 2001

Less Dependence On Chemicals - The traditional method of granular fertilization creates unhealthy plants with short root systems that are susceptible to disease, weeds and bugs. The more you use, the more pesticides, herbicides and fungicides are necessary. All of these chemicals will eventually end up in our water system.
