How to Adjust Rain Bird Spray Heads(VAN)

The Rain Bird VAN (variable arc nozzle) allows for a spray pattern from 0° to 360° for easy coverage of irregularly shaped areas.

Adjustment of the Rain Bird VAN is simple.

• Install head so the left edge indicator on the nozzle is on the left edge of your pattern.
• If it does not line up when installed, turn the sprinkler body slightly until the left edge is in place.
• Turn on zone so you can see spray pattern.
• Grasp the adjustment ring and turn clockwise until you have the coverage you need.
• If you need to reduce the spray distance you can tighten down on the screw slightly to reduce distance up to 25%.
