How to Adjust Toro Spray Heads(VAN)
The Toro TVAN (variable arc nozzle) allows for a spray pattern from 0° to 360° to cover different shaped areas.
The TVAN is designed to be adjusted without tools. Adjustments are made with a twist of the adjustment ring.
Turn the adjustment ring counter-clockwise until it stops. This will turn off all flow from the head and the arrow on top will give you your left side alignment. Turn the sprinkler body until the arrow is pointing at the left edge of your desired spray pattern.
Turn the zone on, grab the adjustment ring and turn clockwise until you have the pattern you need. If you need to reduce coverage slightly you can tighten the screw on top. This will reduce distance up to 25%. This is not generally recommended but is sometimes necessary. |
