How To make a Portable Valve Activator
If you need to test a irrigation valve for functionality and do not have a valve tester, you can make one from three
9-volt batteries.
This will create a 27-volt valve activator that assembles quickly and is portable.
- Take three 9-Volt Batteries
- Connect in a series
- Connnect one valve wire to the negative pole
- Then connect the other wire to the positive pole to activate the valve
- If the solenoid is functioning properly, you should hear a "click"
